    Vintage ashtray from Ernie's Restaurant in San Francisco, California. This ashtray is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. The metallic gold writing and rim also remain intact. It measures 4.5 inches in diameter x .75 inches tall.
     
    Ernie's was a restaurant in San Francisco, California known for its food as well as its luxurious ambiance. In 1958, Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo featured three scenes shot at Ernie's. The establishment closed its doors in 1995.
